Pretty Things

I had such beautiful thoughts in my head this morning and planned my post accordingly.

Then I got sideswiped by a conversation where an author flat out stated e-books were too cheap and she felt the big publishers were doing authors a disservice by not charging more than $9.99 per book because she needed to be making at least $30 an hour to justify her writing...

Enjoy my Pretties while I try to find the happy thoughts I started my day with.

30 bucks an hour?! That would be the life. Sigh.

I hear you Eric. In this economy, most of us are making due with so much less.

Writing like all art is a labor of love. I wish more disposable income could be spent in supporting artistic endeavor but the reality is there simply is not a lot of disposable income floating around these days.

Some people are stuck in their bubble and just don't have a clue. Sorry your happy thoughts were disrupted.

Beautifully delicious post today anyways babe.

Hope your day is better.

Thanks Coreygirl.

I am trying very hard to be nice but you are right. This person is stuck in her bubble so I am going to clear the negative energy from my mind and look at more Pretties. ;)

Attagirl Sassy. Don't let other peoples narrow mindedness get you down. And your pretties would bring a smile to anyones face! Especially # 5 & 15..*sigh*...

Hey Sassy, i echo what CJ said your pretties would make anyone smile! and this is a fabulous bunch of them today.

The first pic i love, but the third one, the big macho man with the nice white jock and the hairy body, mmmmm! i want!

Glad you liked Spartan. I loved the 3rd guy too.

I completely missed which one you would like though. I'd have picked #9 for you just based on his size. ;)

Hope you synched up with those happy thoughts again! I know you've brought some my way... Loving pic #14!
Isn't that argument you mention, similar to a certain Music Artist's discontent w/ YouTube???

Hey Skill,

I am doing much better this afternoon thanks.

My friend Kip is recovering well from his surgery and I spent some time flirting with a young (and aggressive) Russian boy.

He was so cute.

As for the YouTube deal, I really don't know. This gal was a rather entitled sort who felt she should be able to support herself strictly on royalties from her writing and well, here, read for yourself...

@Sassy: So glad to hear your smile is back, and to learn of Kip's favorable recovery! So you found someone to help you along with those language lessons -eh???

I read the sisters-in-crime post -made me go back and look up that whole YouTube controversy... The following archive might pose some ideas worth pondering (see comments below the article)

Here we go again! That first one is so nice and big! And your all smiles again too!

Hmm, interesting stuff Skill. I had not heard any of that before. It takes time but we will see how it plays out. I am back in my good mood and I intend to keep it if I have to tie it down tight and hold it hostage. ;)

Maddie, I was surely thinking of you love when I posted that 1st pic. Woo Hoo, I am back on my roll.

(Though Skill seems to have taken great pleasure in liking Pretties I didn't think he would like and now Spartan is jumping on that bandwagon too...pouts.)
